Molly: My cup just ding dang disappeared!

Was the whole thing planned?

So here's the story.

Liam's played a lot of video games this week, but he had been bugging me all afternoon to play the Wii. After supper, he asked again, this time he asked if he and Molly could play Super Smash Bros. Admiring the fact that he involved his sister, I compromised. I said he could play, but that Molly got to choose the game.

So Liam starts trying to manipulate her, saying how awesome Super Smash Bros. is, and how she can be the Princess and do cool moves, etc. She says, "No, I want to play the other new game, the one with basketball." (Wii Sports Resort)

Liam, dejected, says, "Ugh! Then I won't even play!" and storms out of the room.

After he's gone, Molly says softly, "Yay! I got rid of him!"

Then she notices me looking at her and changes it to, "I mean, aww..."

Fashionable

Molly: I'm not cute, I'm *fashionable*!

Coveting

Molly to some girl: I LOVE your sandals! Where'd you get them?

Liam: I can count by twos up to like 29!

Turns out

Liam: Dad, I thought ice would be something like $75. Turns out, it's like two dollars.

Pancakes

Almost two whole pancakes later, we have concluded that Lily is a fan of IHOP.
